and have worked as a Problem-Based Learning & Becoming a Professional facilitator at the Health Sciences faculty of the University of Cape Town for a period of 10 years.
I have been working in private practise since 2010.
I enjoy working with children and believe that it is important to do so within their contexts.
I specialise in identifying and diagnosing learning difficulties in the foundation, intermediate and senior phases.
I prefer to focus on positive psychology and in helping to identify individual strengths rather than to concentrate on the deficits only.
I focus in my work on helping the individual to empower him/herself through growth and the development of a strong self-image and self-confidence,
and to explore the support structure that could be helpful to him or her in the process.
I am fluent in English and Afrikaans.
